Promotion / Retention

California Law (Ed Code ) and RCSD Board Policy specify minimum performance levels, which must be met by a student for promotion to the next grade level. A Promotion Review Team (PRT) consisting of teacher, principal and parent will consider strategies of intervention and support for students considered at risk of retention.
