Physical Education & Art

Mandarin Immersion bilingual art teacher will lead Art lessons in Mandarin.

Parent volunteer docents will lead Art in Action lessons for students in the parent co-op program. Stay tuned for more information from our Parent Teacher Organization and classroom coordinators. If you would like to volunteer to lead or help with art lessons in the classroom, reach out to the teacher or classroom coordinator.

Students receive physical education 2 times per week by coaches from our community partner, PE Plus. The objective is to provide children with high-quality arts and physical education experiences so that they may experience the joy, self-empowerment, academic growth and physical exuberance associated with the arts and movement. Students also benefit from team building activities, perseverance and sportsmanship. Students should wear clothing and shoes suitable for PE every day.
