IEP -Individual Education Plan

An IEP is an Individual Education Plan for a special education student. The IEP is written at the IEP team meeting and updated each year of eligibility. The IEP specifies the child’s learning goals, which are based on the needs identified as a result of a thorough assessment as well as the services that will be provided by the special education staff to meet those goals.
