About Me:
I was a student teacher in Teacher Stephanie’s class in 2022. Students call me Mrs. Sharratt (rhymes with “carrot”) and parents call me Jen. This is my second year teaching my own class and I’m delighted to continue to be a part of the wonderfully welcoming Orion community!
I received a B.A. in Liberal Studies (with a concentration in Elementary Education) from Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont and returned there to earn my teaching credential.
I was born and raised on the Peninsula and have lived in San Carlos for 20 years. I’ve spent much of that time volunteering in my three children’s classrooms. Now that my youngest daughter has started high school, I’m fulfilling a lifelong dream of teaching an amazing group of fifth graders.
In my free time, I enjoy long walks, reading, coastal hikes and travel.
