About Me:

Hi, I am Mrs. Liz and I am excited to be teaching at Orion again this year. I have been a teacher for the Redwood City School District for 20 of my 21 teaching years. I attended San Jose State University for my undergraduate, graduate, and credential programs. I hold both a general education and special education credential and have a master degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Deaf Education. I am fluent in American Sign Language. My goal, as a teacher, is to learn what works best for each student and help them use those tools to succeed and be happy at school.  When I am not teaching, I like to spend time with my family. We enjoy camping, going to the beach, and just being together. I also enjoy reading, coffee, and running.
