About Me:
My students and parents know me as Teacher Dana.
I began my teaching career in 1985 at a private school in San Francisco. I had the opportunity to teach both 1st and 3rd grade. Eventually, I left the private school sector and joined the Redwood City School District. I have taught at Fair Oaks, Henry Food and Orion. During my years with Redwood City District I have worked with all grade level (K-5th). I was also a math resource support teacher.. My passion is teaching mathematics and I hope I can instill that in my students. TWO of my favorite words to share throughout the year with my students are the words Perseverance and the word YET.
I earned a BA from Berkeley in both Social Welfare and Psychology, and then I continued onto SF State to earn my Teaching Credential.
My husband I raised three daughters who attended both elementary and high schools in Redwood City.
