Meet Our Assistant Principal

I am thrilled to serve as the Vice Principal of Orion Alternative School!  I have more than a decade of experience as an early childhood and elementary educator. I am committed to providing students high-quality educational experiences that promote their academic, social-emotional, and physical development. I strive to create a school environment in which equity is pursued, diversity is embraced, and all students feel included, valued, and loved.

I worked as both a classroom teacher and literacy specialist in private and charter schools, as well as South San Francisco Unified before coming to RCSD. I earned my undergraduate degree in early childhood development and special education from San José State University, before obtaining my master's degree in education and multiple subject teaching credential from UC Berkeley. I also hold a literacy specialist certificate from California State University Fresno. 

Outside of school I enjoy reading, baking, and spending time with my husband and young daughter. Our favorite activities as a family include visiting the park, and taking trips to the San Francisco Zoo.
