About Me:
2nd Grade, Hu Laoshi 胡老师
Hi everyone, my name is Ke Hu. I am so excited to join the Mandarin Immersion family. Before joining the MI program, I taught kindergarten through fourth in Maryland public schools.
I received my Bachelor's degree from Nanjing University in China and majored in Chinese language and literature. I hold my Master's degree in "Education of Curriculum and Instruction" from the University of Maryland, College Park.
I am passionate about inspiring and preparing students to reach their full potential. In my classroom, students learn Chinese and math through technology, art, music, role-play and fun hands-on activities. I want students will be confident in their ability to read, write and think in both Chinese and English. My goal is to help students become active and caring lifelong learners, who will demonstrate cross-cultural respect and have the capacity to create a better world.
