About Me: Hello there! My name is Rachel Gordon and I am teaching kindergarten in room 19. I grew up in Redwood City, attending Orion, Kennedy, and Sequoia—I am a true product of the Redwood City public school system. I am thrilled to be able to bring my love for learning back to my hometown, and I am so happy to be a member of the John Gill community. In my classroom students learn through doing—acting things out, learning sounds through kinesthetic movement, using manipulative, and exploring our ideas through a variety of ways. Our kinder days are full of learning, singing, laughing, and fun…and it’s my hope that my students are excited to come to school every day.
